WMBF News reports that HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Crews responded to a woods fire in Horry County on Thursday night.
Horry County Fire Rescue responded to McDowell Shortcut Road near Highway 707 at 8:48 p.m.
The fire is estimated at approximately one acre, according to HCFR officials.
Crews are working to contain the fire fully.
Traffic lanes are currently blocked due to this fire.
Horry County Police Department and the South Carolina Forestry Commission are assisting.
