WMBF News reports that HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Authorities are investigating a new report of mail theft in Horry County.
Multiple neighbors in Covington Lake say they saw someone in a black Audi open numerous mailboxes in the overnight hours of April 30 and May 27.
Mike Pickrel’s security cameras caught both incidents.
In surveillance footage from April 30, the car pulls up to his mailbox for a few seconds.
In one instance, the mailbox can be heard slamming shut.
The car then slowly drives towards Pickrel’s neighbor’s mailbox.
