WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Tenants at a Myrtle Beach apartment complex say they’re frustrated after going without running water for multiple days.

Lindsey Cibula and Dale Marshall say that after a pipe broke at the Carolina Breeze apartment complex, the taps stopped running in their apartment, along with dozens of their neighbors.

“We were without water for at least four days, and it was terrible,” Cibula said.

“We couldn’t shower; we couldn’t really cook much except for what was in the pantry or microwaveable.

Most people had to go out and eat out or go to hotels because they had young children or pets.” Marshall told WMBF he saw multiple plumbing companies come and attempt to fix the broken pipe before leaving the project unfinished for another company to try.

“They were trying to fix things the cheap way, and the plumber told us that, which was pretty sad hearing that,” Marshall said.
