WIS News 10 reports that (WIS) - Clarendon County Fire Rescue units responded to a crash involving a CSX train and a man.
The units were reportedly dispatched to the area of Ramsal Road and June Burn Road in Manning around 4 p.m.
The Clarendon County Coroner’s Office (CCCO) identified the man as Xavier Knight, 23, of Sumter.
An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
According to the CCCO, Knight and a friend were fishing near the 1001 Ramsal Road and June Burn Road intersection when the train came around the tracks, blowing the horn.
Knight reportedly did not get off the tracks in time and was struck by the CSX train.
