Conway mother walks through fire to save her three-year-old from burning apartment

WMBF News reports that CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - A young mother’s family is calling her a hero after she saved herself and her 3-year-old daughter from a Conway apartment fire.

Miracle Keith walked downstairs to find her apartment on fire around 4 a.m.

“She ran back upstairs to grab Amiri, but she had to run through the fire and smoke and all the heat to even get out,” said Miracle’s mother, Nina Keith.

Amiri is Miracle’s 3-year-old daughter.

“It was very terrifying,” said Nina.

Nina got the call from her daughter Harmony, who lives next door to Miracle, that Miracle and Amiri had escaped from the apartment fire on Rhue Street.
