Conway fire crews rescue kitten trapped in van

WMBF News reports that CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - Crews said a tiny passenger was rescued from a van.

On Wednesday, the Conway Fire Department said that crews recently responded to a call about a kitten trapped between the undercarriage and battery cell of a hybrid transport van.

The agency said the kitten had been stuck since the weekend.

“We train for fires, rescues, medical emergencies, and disasters.

Sometimes, helping our community comes in all shapes, sizes, and whiskers,” said the fire department.

CFD said when a kitten rescue call comes in, they are always ready to help.
