WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A new airline is launching service at Myrtle Beach International Airport Wednesday.
Contour Airlines’ first flight between Myrtle Beach and Beckley, West Virginia, takes off Wednesday, with the inaugural inbound flight scheduled to arrive at 3:40 p.m.
Airport officials will hold a celebration at 3 p.m.
Myrtle Beach International Airport officials said they are excited to unveil news about the future of Contour’s presence in Myrtle Beach and expanded travel for the region.
Contour Airlines is a Tennessee-based regional carrier that operates scheduled flights in smaller and mid-sized markets.
The airline will fly between Myrtle Beach and Beckley on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with tickets starting at $109.
