(WIS) - The Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for information regarding an ongoing death investigation in the Tara Lane area.
On Saturday at 11:44 pm, deputies responded to a report that was believed to be a suicide; they found a victim who had died from a gunshot wound to the upper body upon arrival.
It was determined that the victim’s injuries did not appear to be self-inflicted.
The victim was identified as 56-year-old Homero Zunan Gonzales, who lived at the home deputies responded to.
Authorities say this appears to be an isolated incident and are asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area or possesses surveillance, doorbell, or dash camera footage to come forward.
