WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Both suspects who deputies said walked away from AMI Kids near Bennettsville have been apprehended, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies with the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office announced shortly after 10 a.m.

that the juveniles, who the sheriff’s office described as suspects, had been apprehended.

The sheriff’s office said it continued the search into Wednesday morning and enlisted the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division dog team and aviation unit.

Deputies said the juveniles had been spotted near Busy Bay and Florence Street on Wednesday morning.

In an update late Tuesday night, Marlboro County Chief Deputy Larry Turner said ground search and drone operations were suspended for the night due to recent fires in the area that created hotspots, hindering drone operations and making the search more challenging.
