WMBF News reports that HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - As Prime Day begins, Amazon’s same-day shipping facility in Horry County is helping process packages for customers in the Myrtle Beach area.
The 135,000-square-foot facility has served the area since 2024, supplying same-day shipping for Amazon customers.
At the facility, trucks unload packages while employees fill, label, and sort orders.
Amazon said some packages can be processed in as little as one hour.
“Amazon sees something special in South Carolina.
There are great people, and that is why we keep expanding here,” Taylor Whitehurst said.
