WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson will appear on the ballot in November.
Pamela Evette in Tuesday’s runoff election in the South Carolina Republican primary.
As of 10:10 p.m., Wilson received 203,284 votes, or 68.3%, while Evette received 94,203 votes, or 31.7%.
Wilson has served as South Carolina’s attorney general since 2011.
He will face Democratic nominee Jermaine Johnson in the Nov.
Evette acknowledged her loss during her watch party at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club.
