3 taken to hospital after Surfside Beach-area crash

WMBF News reports that HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Horry County Fire Rescue was called to a crash with an overturned car.

According to Horry County Fire Rescue, the five-vehicle crash happened near Highway 17 Bypass and Coventry Road in the Surfside Beach area at 3:16 p.m.

Three people were taken to the hospital and three signed medical waivers South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating and the Horry County Police Department is assisting.
