WMBF News reports that MARLBORO COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - A second suspect has been charged in connection with a Bennettsville-area shooting earlier this month.
The Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office announced on Tuesday that Eric Ivery Jr.
turned himself in to the Bennettsville Police Department.
Ivery was wanted in connection with a June 4 shooting that injured one person and damaged a home on Hart Lane in the Bennettsville area.
Deputies said Ivery and Nicholas Miller, who had been previously charged in the case, fired at a victim.
The victim was visiting a homeowner when Miller arrived, and a heated conversation between the victim and Miller escalated, according to deputies.
