WMBF News reports that DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - It has been one year since an ambush killed a Darlington County deputy, and authorities are honoring his service.

Deputy Devin Mason was killed July 1, 2025, while responding to a home on Old Timers Court in reference to a wanted individual.
