WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - One person was rescued from a Surfside Beach house fire early Thursday morning, according to the Surfside Beach Fire Department.
The Surfside Beach Fire Department was alerted around 1:30 a.m.
to a possible structure fire with reports of an individual trapped inside, the department said.
Firefighters arrived shortly after being dispatched and were able to make access and rescue the person.
The person was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
Fire crews found the fire was under the house and in an exterior wall, the department said.
