Hakimi appeals to higher court in bid to have rape case thrown out

Morocco captain Achraf Hakimi, who is facing rape allegations in France, has filed an appeal after an earlier attempt to overturn an investigating judge's decision was unsuccessful. French broadcaster BFMTV reported on Saturday that the footballer was going to a higher court after losing an appeal over the decision to refer him for a criminal trial.
