Yahoo Sports reports: Logan Chalmers has backed himself to make the "step up" to the Scottish Premiership following a five-year top-flight absence after leaving Partick Thistle to sign for St Johnstone. The 26-year-old, who has signed a two-year contract for the Championship winners, last played in the Premiership as a subsitute for Dundee United in a 3-1 defeat by Hibernian in December 2021. Since then, he has played in the Championship for Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Ayr United and Thistle, as well as League Two for Tranmere Rovers.
